Sol kadhi is popular dish found often in malvan area of Maharashtra. Its simple and healthy. Its different in colour too, making it more tempting.
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut Milk
4 whole kokam (mangosteen)
2 green chillies
5 garlic clovesh
handful of coriander leaves
salt to taste.
Method:
- Dissolve Kokam flakes in about 4-5 Tablespoons of water in the vessel you are going to keep the Kadhi for about 10 minutes before you make the kadhi.
- Put all the other contents in the mixer, add very little water.
- Pour the mixture from the Mixer in the vessel in which you have Kokam dissolved in Water.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Making Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4 persons.
Shelflife: Best fresh.
Note: Try to keep it as simple as possible. Serve it along with Rice . Its usually taken after eating the rice.
