Rice forms a basic staple of Indians. There are variety of rice in India. People's choice differ with these varieties which is now widely available world over.
Ingredients:
Rice - 250 grams.
Water - as required.
Salt - to taste.
Method:
- Wash and soak the rice in water for few hours or minutes.
- Next add the salt, cover and put the covered bowl of rice in a pan of water.
- Cook till the rice is done.
- Serve hot with any gravy.
Making time: 25 minutes.
Serves: 4 persons.
Shelflife: 1 day.
