Ingredients:
Rava (Sooji) 2 cups
Moong daal 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper 1/2tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Cashewnuts 10
Ginger a small piece
Ghee 1/2 cup .
Method:
- First, fry moong daal and half cook in a pan and keep it aside.
- Fry rava with 1/4cup ghee till light red in colour.
- With rest of the ghee fry broken pepper, cumin seeds and cashewnuts and ginger.
- Add 2 cups of water. When it comes to boil add salt , fried rava and stir evenly.
- Now add boiled daal and mix well.
- Serve hot.
Making Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4 persons.
Shelflife: Best fresh.
Note: Serve this cuisine when hot since it looses its tastes as time goes by.
